Abstract:
Smart cities have been identified as key to achieving the energy efficiency targets proposed for 2020 and 2050. The problems of economic growth, social development, progress, technology transfer, intelligent services, smart specialization-need of new workforce that will be able to use / integrate the high performance technologies. In the framework of the national project 'Smart Specialization-Innovative Public Lighting solutions for Smart City' was carried out an analysis of real projects on public lighting systems implemented in the Republic of Moldova, which were determinant in the implementation of public street lighting pilot projects in the campus and in the Dendrological Park of Technical University of Moldova in the frame of the national.
