dc.description.abstract Were studied antibacterial properties of four autochthonous lactic acid bacteria strains against bacterial testorganisms Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Agrobacterium tumefaciens, Corynebacterium michiganens, Erwinia carotovora and Xanthomonas campestris. All strains were found to have antibacterial activity against Grampositive and Gram-negative microorganisms. Lactococcus lactis biovar diacetylactis CNMN-LB-14 possess a broad spectrum of antibacterial action against all test-organisms due to the participation of aromatic compound – diacetyl. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the inhibitory properties of the lactic acid bacteria allow their use not only for food industry, but also for agriculture. en_US
