dc.description.abstract The circular economy aims to eliminate waste through the superior design of materials, products and systems (including business models). It is a change in the way resources are extracted, transformed into products and then become waste. Essentially, the circular economy reduces the use of materials, redesigns materials, products and services to be less resource intensive and recovers the 'waste' that feeds into the manufacture of new materials and products. en_US
