dc.description.abstract An experimental method for tuning of the PID controller and its variations, using the critical regime parameters of the closed loop control system is proposed in this paper. The method was developed based on the maximum stability degree criterion, that offers to the designed control system the high stability, robustness at the variation of the control objects’parameters, the transient processes with low overshoot and high performance. For efficacy analysis of the elaborated algorithms, there are presented some case studies and practical applications. en_US
