Viaţa monahală în eparhia Huşilor studiu de caz: schitul Dobruşa

Abstract

Huşi diocese was founded in 1598 by Ieremia Movilă (1596-1600; 1600-1607), while his brother was the Metropolitan of Moldova, Gheorghe Movilă (1591; 1595-1600; 1600- 1605). Regarding causes of founding Huşi diocese, is considered demographic growth, fight against islamism, protestantism and catholicism. The leading element in founding Huşi diocese is the evolution of the international relations plus the russian agent, existance of a pretty welthy voeivodal church, location in a area where it was possible supervising and others. Most of the territory where the exercise of ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Huşi diocese until 1812 is located beyond the Prut. The countrysides belonging to the Huşi diocese are: Fălciu, Lăpuşna, Orhei, Soroca, Hotărniceni, Codru of Tigheci, Greceni. The toponyms and hidronyms of religious origin, relieve a monastic life throughout the territory of jurisdiction of the diocese. Monastic sanctuaries represent hotbeds of romanian culture on both sides of the Prut. It demonstrate the spiritual bonding of romanians alienated by the Treaty of Bucharest.
