Abstract

Gheorghe Vrabie’s contributions to the study of the etching engraving. Gheorghe Vrabie’s creation take a special place in the graphic arts of the country. From the first decade of his activity, the works of this sketcherare distinguished from those of the other artists in a special way, emphasizing adifferent approach of the artistic form, in a manner that are unlike the traditional-realistic type of that time - in the structural ordering and in the representation of the artistic content. All of this are reviled by the compositional orchestration way, often with the openand complex structure and the graphic and linearmanner of treating of the stylized modal content.
