dc.description.abstract Health Information Systems (HIS) are the basis for planning, managing, and evaluating health care provision. However, many countries (both high‐ and low‐ income) face difficulties in introducing and adopting relevant eHealth applications in their clinical and technological environment. Health systems with limited resources are further challenged by the increasing demand for various electronic, especially facilitybased, HIS and the fact that technical assistance on-site is often missing. en_US
