The article analyzed the role of specialists in the agri-food sector on the entities development in terms of risks and performance, and a synthesis of statistical data and analysis of business surveys is presented. The study was conducted by interviewing 69 companies from agri-food sector from 10 administrative regions of Moldova. As a result of the study it was established: - specialists’ factor / risk obtained an average rating of 4.3 points on the scale of 5 pt.
