dc.description.abstract It is well known that approximately 50% of heating generated by the human brain is eliminated due to colder flux of the blood in the carotid arteries. Another 50% of heating is evacuated by the surface of the brain which is dissipated to outside using flux of cooled blood at the scalp skin level. Devices and technology proposed will have significant impact on the treatment methods of patients with various pathologies and will contribute to the elaboration of new curative treatment technologies. en_US
