dc.description.abstract | This paper describes an interface for the phonosemantic evaluation for Russian words. By phonosemantics we mean the subconscious emotional interpretation of the acoustic perception of words independent of their meaning. The given method is based on data about the emotional perception of sounds, obtained from a sample of respondents. The developed program evaluates the emotional characteristics of the words using data about the sounds. The interface allows users to evaluate phonosemantics for a given word as well as to introduce her/his personal perception of phonosemantics for individual sounds of Russian language. | en_US |
