dc.description.abstract Monitoring the composition of the soil microbiome is an important aspect of successful vineyard management. Microorganisms involved in the production of wine during the fermentation process affect its metabolite profiles and, ultimately, quality. Firstly, for successful identification of the species composition of soil microflora, using PCR analysis, high quality DNA free from inhibitors is required. Secondly, representative amount of microorganisms’ DNA must be in the sample. This paper outlines the combination of several methods of DNA extraction and purification from the soil, suitable for PCR analysis. en_US
