| dc.description.abstract | A question of present interest for urban areas is the impact of noise and dust. These influence the comfort conditions of population in towns, having in the same time a negative influence on health. The concentration of dust and level of noise in many cities exceeds the allowable limits. The main source of noise pollution is the transport (road, rail, air), and in case of dust are the uncovered surfaces and industrial areas. The methods to reduce the influence of noise can be passive and active. Comfort conditions can only be achieved by maintaining the concentration of dust and level of noise within the admitted values. | en_US |
