Abstract:
The paper analysed through computational methods, the sequence of solidification mode and intersections adjacent areas in the form of "T" in the cast aluminium alloys. By this analysis the order of solidification, and the distance from the centre of the intersection at the solidification state of the art, that the lower compactness. To obtain the results presented were performed simulations, using the program NovaFlow & Solid CV, the solidification of the alloy EN AC-Al Si7Mg, moulded from a mixture of training wet, a total of 168 pieces shaped intersections "T" with the total mass of 575 kg. In view of the large amount of alloy cast for the experimental analysis would be just such a process evaluates the implications of material and energy consumption, it is clear opportunity of using computational embodiment.
