dc.description.abstract The mechanical properties (the hardness H), the morphology, the 119Sn Mossbauer spectroscopy, and the Temperature Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimetry (MDSC) of amorphous (As2Se3)1-x:Snx and (Sb2Se3)1-x:Snx bulk samples and amorphous thin films were investigated in order to elucidate some aspects of the molecular glass structure. From the transmission spectra of amorphous films under study, the optical band gap Eg , absorption coefficient α, and refractive index n were estimated. It was established the degree of modification of the optical parameters under light irradiation and heat treatment of the amorphous thin films with different amount of Sn was studied. en_US
