dc.description.abstract In industrialized countries, irrational exploitation of resources and centralized capital, combined with intensive energy production represent not only a waste, but also a source of environmental pollution. In these countries, the clay is used more and more as a construction material. A current problem is the construction of low-energy and affordable houses, with an emphasis on a healthy and balanced indoor climate. People begin to realize that clay, as a natural building material has a higher quality than industrial building materials, such as oncrete, brick and limestone blocks. Recentlyeveloped advanced techniques used for constructing clay buildings demonstrate the value not only for construction one’s own purposes, but also for industrialized constructions performed by contractors. en_US
