The influence of operational factors on speed regimes and fuel economy of the urban passenger transport factors influencing the fuel economy of urban passenger transport

Abstract

The article describes the equation of motion of the vehicle and its fuel consumption depending on the transport factors such as: traffic intensity, length of segments and time for boarding of passengers. Also dependently on traffic flow intensity are given recommendations about selection of speed regimes to increase the fuel efficiency.
