dc.description.abstract | The new image of the modern city is largely dictated by the architecture of office buildings, typologically related to the administrative buildings that have their own specifics. Based on the fact that their architecture reflects the compositional and stylistic diversity, based on the principles of historical and modern architectural concepts, the study identified three groups of buildings with varying degrees of mutual influence of the "old" and "new": “the historical pastiche”; “the contemporary inset”; “the stylistic contrast”. The last group of office buildings, are causing an increased interest in themselves and often criticized. But at the same time, it is such buildings that represent a continuous modification of architecture, form the image of a modern Chisinau, reflecting trends of the world architecture. | en_US |
