Abstract:
The agricultural activity as a whole is closely related to climatic conditions uncontrolled by man or other living organisms, strongly emphasized by the economic interests of all parties involved, and it is ranked as one of the highest levels of risk. Usually, this assessment includes both natural and economic hazards. Based on this finding objective, modern agriculture in all countries has a well defined object of insurance. Contemporary insurance mechanism and instruments of the agricultural sector are widely diversified, taking as a basis the specific geographic diversification, sector structure of plant growing and/or livestock breeding, the economic possibilities of the participants in the process of insurance etc. The insurance premiums are paid by the State in order to provide subsidized risk insurance of the agricultural production
