Abstract:
Architectural heritage represents an important component of the universal culture, which, being accumulated over the centuries, is a direct consequence of socio-cultural developments. In particular, the architectural heritage related to a community, respectively, to an ethnic cultural or even territorial entity, has a well-defined specificity. The latter includes all the values and cultural assets that have a special value and are representative of the people.
Each nation and state is characterized by its material and spiritual cultural treasure, which reflects a revelation of historical reality and expresses the level of the society’s development. Each good or a group of goods has traveled a long way in history to reach what it is today: a component part of the country’s cultural wealth and cultural heritage.
Thus, the present article represents an analysis of the historical and cultural real estate, part of the architectural heritage from the medieval period. And it is one of a series of articles with this theme, which will highlight the importance, the history, the structure, the architecture, as well as the status of the architectural assets subject to research.
