Abstract:
In order to study the labor costs for pruning cherry trees, 7 crown forms were studied. Studies have shown. that the most time-consuming in terms of pruning were such formations as the Storied pyramid and Spanish bush, which are distinguished by large crown parameters, in which it is necessary to spend 5.10 - 7.03 minutes on pruning one tree at the age of 7. An increase in the planting density of sweet cherry trees leads to a significant increase in labor costs for pruning plantations, reaching the highest values - 138.3 people / hour per 1 ha in the Tall Spindle Axe variant, when planting 2500 trees / ha.
