In acelasi timp tehnologia PVD permite depunerea unor straturi mai subtiri in structuri mai complexe.
dc.description.abstract The paper analyzed the coating technologies with wear-resistant coatings of inserts and cutting tools using CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition), PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technologies and their hybrid variations. It is shown that both CVD and PVD deposition allow a substantial increase in the durability of cutting tools. At the same time, PVD technology allows the deposition of thinner layers in more complex structures. For each type of coverage there are areas and regimes of use. Coatings of nitrides TiN, TiAlN, CrN, ZrN, TiSiN, TiAlSiN, CrAlN, TiAlCrN, cBN and carbides TiC, CrC and WC are analyzed. en_US
