Abstract:
The paper aims to analyze the potential use of recyclable waste, especially glass waste for the production of materials and soil improvement. Experimental applications based on the integration of recycled products as binders allowed the definition of multicriteria requirements necessary to improve the technical and environmental performance characteristics of materials and methods of earthworks for roads and industrial platforms, works to improve railway infrastructure, floor elements, etc. Within the paper is structured an experimental program (types of land, waste, types of tests, material dosages, performance characteristics, optimal recipes) which is a preliminary step for small-scale modeling applied in the design of useful eco-sustainable structures and elements in construction works.
