dc.description.abstract The article presents the results of experimental studies of reinforced concrete elements in aggressive media. A theoretical calculation is given which determines the period of filling the cavity of a crack with carbon dioxide. The action of such gases on the concrete causes its neutralization. Under real exploitation conditions, carbon dioxide plays a major role in neutralizing concrete. Research results of reinforced concrete beams and experimental studies have shown the need to use corrosion inhibitors of reinforcements. en_US
