The presentation reflects the results of the survey to explore agricultural researchers' attitudes towards openness and sharing of research data. The survey results show that the vast majority of respondents are aware of the benefits and advantages of open research data, but they also identify several challenges and concerns that reduce their willingness to share their data. These concerns include challenges such as time constraints, data security issues, concerns about relinquishing control over intellectual property, and the potential for misinterpretation and misuse of data. Participants also expressed a strong interest in support from libraries and highlighted the need for training in research data management. Achieving open data goals and reducing barriers to accessing and sharing research results will require significant effort, sound research data management practices, awareness raising, consolidation, support and training.

The proposed presentation explores the role and value of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and the Research Data Alliance (RDA) in the context of researchers. EOSC, an ambitious European Union initiative, aims to facilitate open and distributed access to European scientific resources and data.
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is a global community focused on developing solutions for research data management worldwide. The presentation highlights how RDA and EOSC collaborate to promote standards and best practices in research data management, strengthening the global research infrastructure.
It also explores how researchers can benefit from these initiatives, how they can access and contribute to the resources available through EOSC, and how they can use the standards promoted by the RDA to optimise their research data management.

Pentru atingerea obiectivelor Open Data și reducerea barierelor de acces și partajare a rezultatelor cercetării sunt necesare eforturi mari, practici solide de gestionare a datelor de cercetare, conștientizare, consolidare, asistență și instruire.; The key to understanding what can be done to support the scientific community is to study and analyze the real behaviors of researchers. The article presents the researchers’ attitudes regarding the openness and sharing of research data extracted from a larger survey on Open Science conducted among researchers in the Republic of Moldova. The survey included 532 researchers. The results of the survey show that the vast majority of respondents are aware of the benefits and advantages of open research data, but they also mention a number of challenges and fears that diminish their desire to share their data. Achieving the objectives of Open Data and reducing barriers to access and sharing research results requires great efforts, efficient research data management practices, awareness, consolidation, assistance and training.

The implementation of information and communication technologies in research leads to a big data flow that needs efficient management. In the context of the Open Science movement and following FAIR principles, sharing of research data became an important issue for all research disciplines. In this work we focus on data sharing in agricultural sciences due to the significance of this field for every person, every country and even for the whole humanity. The paper is focused on data produced in agricultural sciences and provides information about types of data produced, on understanding the benefits from open data, provides perception and attitude of scholars towards sharing and reusing research data. The perceptions of agricultural researchers to data sharing are generally positive, but respondents reported a number of fears including lack of time, data security and losing control over intellectual property, possible misinterpretation and misuse of data. They also mentioned the interest in library assistance and the need of training in research data management
